This guy is definitely extraterrestrial. I keep trying to figure it out, but there seems to be something odd about him, other than the design. It feels like it has something to do with how his weight is distributed. It almost looks like he is about to fall, but I can't quite figure out if why.
Kyle this is so extraterrestrial and really brings a unique feeling to the world. I think the colors are sweet and working really well. I love your backgrounds as well. My only thought is he seems to be putting a lot of weight in his tail. It might work if you could have him have some more weight forward. Just a thought. Great design!
Love the skin textures. Maybe with Ethan's comment on the weight distribution you can make the curve in the spine less dramatic going into the pelvis, to help him look more mobile?
I love the colors in this and how exotic looking it is! I think maybe if he had either a bit more of a stomach or a bigger tail it would fix the weight distribution thing. But really, great job!
I like the way his weight sits on his body. The folds feel very natural and believable. I'm confused by the fur on his back and the antennae on his head. Both of these feel a little bit pasted on. It makes me wonder where he lives. If you really want to include antennae, I'd look at antennae on animals in real life. Real life antennae would feel less designed and more like they belong on an actual animal.
Blue and orange! The Kyle palette!
