Hannah N-Sketches/thumbnails

I'm too lazy to try and figure out how to rotate these. Anyways, I started out with Naphai and then got bored and did Issib instead. Edit: Added Luet

  1. I like where this is going.... I really enjoy the diagonal shapes in the top center cloak on the first page. I like how you play up the emphasis on the long legs too.

  2. Good work. Are you using gray markers for these? The first image is blurry. Cell phone pic? (If it's an iPhone or other smart phone you should be able to tap on something to make it focus on that.) I'd recommend exploring a few more small thumbnail silhouettes, though the ones you have are interesting, before diving into too many detailed sketches. The reason is that detail won't save the design if the basic silhouette shapes are bland or confusing. Push yourself to really explore more possibilities than you're naturally inclined to be satisfied with, always looking for the big, simple, bold shapes first.

  3. Also, rotating the images isn't hard depending on what type of camera (or phone) you're using. If you can't do it in the camera/phone, you can do it on a Mac in Preview under the Tools menu or using Cmd-R or Cmd-L to rotate right or left.
