Some good explorations here. I'm happy to see someone trying to work out how Issib's floats would look. The text almost makes it sound like he can zoom around like a ghost. The darker silhouettes (soldiers?) look like variations on a single theme, maybe because the legs and other parts are all so similar? Anyway it's also good to see some facial explorations. It will be a very valuable asset if you can learn the structure of the human head so well as to be able to draw a really convincing basic male and basic female, and then practice varying the features in a believable way. I'll try to demonstrate that this week.
I can see the guards in the bulky poses you made...I'd be interested in seeing you do some helmet designs or hats.
